Nothing Like Muck Garden Shoes In The Garden

It wasn’t too long ago that I had the kids, husband, and a nice suburban house. I guess it has been a long time, 20 years in fact. Nowadays it’s just me, my children have moved out and on their own and my husband passed away a few years ago.
I taught elementary school for a long time, and hopefully touched the lives of many of my students. I love running into my kids all over town, just about everywhere I go.
My other lifelong passion is a hobby that I tend to every summer is gardening. The biggest benefit to being a teacher is having the summers off, believe me, we enjoyed it just as much as the kids.
Now, my house doesn’t have a very big yard, but what it does have is enough room for me to plant quite a few rows of vegetable and other plants. Every morning, I slip on my Muck Boots Garden Shoes and head out to take inventory. It’s really a thrill for me to watch all my plants grow. Keeping track of my children is my biggest joy of course, but since they are not here with me, this will suffice.
My neighbor Tracy bought me these Muck Boot shoes that were specifically made for walking on top of fertilizer, trouncing through the mud, and staying put when walking on wet surfaces. The pink color is perfect for me. It’s definitely a shoe for the ladies.
